The Dust Bowl was the worst man-made ecological disaster in American history. For Colorado, it transformed the landscape and Coloradan people with a decade long drought. Wrong Side Up is a short film about Mac, a twelve-year-old boy whose fate is determined by his father's departure and the impending Dust Bowl as he is forced to care for his family and their farm.
Wrong Side Up was shot at historic locations all over Colorado by Coloradan filmmakers and historians. We worked with History Colorado, the Colorado Film and Video Association as well as the cities of Como, Campo, Englewood and Denver to shoot this film.
"Henry McComas, the director of a new movie called 'Wrong Side Up" about the dust bowl also spoke to 9NEWS. He worked with History Colorado to shoot on locations that survived the dust bowl for the movie." - 9NEWS
